Nothing sticks out, software could be better, some products, like the hotel kiosks, had to be scrapped entirely because they were out of order longer than they worked.

The product is nice, but we still on the old version hopping soon we will go to the latest version of the agilysys system. Support is good, Sir Renante is always active to support.

We purchased the system for two main reasons, the use of wireless tablets around our pool and at our Jazz festival and the use of screens in the kitchens. The screens in the kitchen were returned since they don't work for a fine dining restaurant and the tablets are all not working either.

The only benefit to this product is that it is sequel based so you have access to all of your information and that it is a full module system (sales & catering, Front Desk, Reservations, Housekeeping, Accounting, maintenance)

Nearly all the necessary information about guest reservations, payments, etc, can be found and manipulated within just a few accessible pages of the system. There aren't a lot of user restrictions to prevent users from manipulating the system to meet unexpected needs--its very flexible and allows content to be easily modified.

It was an easy software to learn. At first, it was a bit overwhelming because there were so many buttons and functions, but once you put some time into it, you become comfortable very quickly.

What does this product or service do well?

Answer:

Agilysys offers a turnkey PMS solution suite that can be customized to meet each property’s requirements. From working with Agilysys on many different hotel projects (mostly casinos and resorts), we know that Agilysys has a deep knowledge of the hotel market and puts their customers first. They understand the challenges facing the hotel industry and is constantly tweaking and reinventing its PMS offerings to meet the quickly changing market needs.

Question:

What differentiates this product or service from the competition?

Answer:

Since the pandemic started, Agilysys has proven how agile the organization is and the company’s mobile guest app, rGuest Express, is helping hoteliers to reopen safely by delivering a mobile guest journey with contact-free check-in and mobile keys, minimizing in-person contacts and eliminating handling of physical key cards.

Question:

Based on your experience with this product or service, if you could give one piece of advice to a hotelier considering this product or service, what would it be?

Answer:

The system has a lot of functionality. Invest time to learn and train your hotel staff to maximize your return on investment. Look into how your organization can leverage Agilysys mobile guest app, rGuest Mobile Express to provide a contact-free guest journey.
